Creating murals to activate an enchanting environment for the Nang Lae Children Development Center students.

Why ?

When students view art, it stimulates them to experience joy, contentment, serenity, and optimism. Happiness and belonging are the few needs and values of a community that I share with the teachers and students of the Nang Lae Children Development Center. Because Nang Lae is my home, Nang Lae Children Development Center is part of a community that I seek to collaborate with. Through “Painting the Future,” I express my passion for art and my values for happiness, creativity, and community.

What ?

My project takes place at Nang Lae Children Development Center where preschool/kindergarten students learn in Nang Lae village. My team and I envision painting murals on the outside walls and creating a creatively welcoming environment for the teachers and the students. I hope this “Painting the Future” project will motivate the students and provide them with the space to freely dive into the imaginative world of art. The project’s primary goal is to stimulate a welcoming atmosphere for the students and spark their creativity through art.

Fundraising

My project requires 21,000 baht worth of funds to purchase supplies such as paint and paintbrushes and provide my volunteers with food, water, and shade from the sun. If 40 people donate 400 baht, then “Painting the Future” fulfills the dream of the students and teachers for an enchanting and welcoming environment. I hope to be fully funded by January 15, 2023, in order to be ready for the day of the project on February 3, 2024.
