Running for awareness about human trafficking and pornography to empower the Chiang Rai community.

Why ?

In recent years the world has experienced a damaging increase in pornography. In many areas, including Northern Thailand, it is like the elephant in the room; everyone knows it's there but no one is willing to address it. I would like to address this by bringing awareness to this issue. I’ve partnered with Ezekiel Rain, one of the leading organizations in Chaing Rai who fight trafficking and pornography.

What ?

Running has been an important part of my life and I want to incorporate that passion with my desire to bring awareness to this important issue. I will be creating a 6k fun run for the Chiang Rai community and Eziekel Rain will come and speak and provide material so that the participants will be exposed to the work they are doing in Chiang Rai. Additionally, I will be taking donations that will go towards children's books addressing healthy sexuality which will be distributed to various children's organizations in Chiang Rai.

Fundraising

To make this vision a reality, I would need to raise 20,200 Baht. These funds will be used to buy supplies and advertise the fun run. Additionally, some of these funds will go towards supporting Eziekel Rain’s work and giving books to children’s homes. If you feel called to donate, any amount would be appreciated.
